How to resize rows and column?

Ans. There are two ways to resize rows and columns.

Resize a Row Height:

  • To resize a row select it by clicking of row label this is left hand side into your worksheet.
  • Whole row will be selected. Now click on the Cells Section into the ribbon bar under Home Tab.
  • Click on the Format option. A list of options will appear on the screen.
  • Click on the row height option. A row height dialog box will appear on the screen.
  • Type a new value and press OK button. Your row height will be adjust according to your value.

Resize a Column Width:

  • To resize a column select it by clicking of column label this is top of the side into your worksheet.
  • Whole column will be selected. Now click on the Cells Section into the ribbon bar under Home Tab.
  • Click on the Format option. A list of options will appear on the screen.
  • Click on the column width option. A column width dialog box will appear on the screen.
  • Type a new value and press OK button. Your column width will be adjust according to your value.

How to moving, coping and pasting cells in your MS-Excel workbook?

Ans.

Moving Cells:

To move cells from one place to another place into your MS-Excel worksheet, select the cells which you want to move. Click on the Cut Option into the clipboard section into the ribbon bar under Home Tab. Your cells will be disappeared from there. Now  click at that place where you want to put these cells and click on the Paste option into the clipboard section under Home Tab.

Coping Cells:

To copy cells from one place to another place. Select the cells which you want to copy. Click on the Copy option into the clipboard section under the Home Tab. Your selected cells will be copied into the Clipboard.

Pasting Cells:

Now you have copied cells. Click on the position or location where you want to paste your copied cells. Click at there and click on the Paste option into the clipboard option in ribbon bar under Home Tab.
