How to close a Word Document?

Ans. To close a Word Document steps are given below:

  • Click on the Office Button into your MS-Word Document .  A list of options will appear on the screen.
  • Click on the ‘Close’ button into the list. Your document will be closed after click on this command button.

How to open a MS-Word Document?

Ans. There are few steps to open a MS-Word Document.

  • Click on the Office Button into your MS-Word Document.
  • A list of options will appear on the screen. Click on the ‘Open’ button.
  • A Open file dialog box will appear on the screen, now select the location from where your want to open your MS-Word file.
  • Choose file name which you want to open. Click on Open button your MS-Word file will be opened.

OR

  • Open your file location first where your file is saved into your computer. Like ‘My Document’, ‘My Computer’ etc.
  • Choose file name which you want to open. And double-click on that file. File will be opened.

How to perform Cut, Copy and Paste operation into your MS-Word Document?

Ans. If you want to copy any part of your document from one place to another within the same or other document, you first have to select the text that you want to copy. To perform Cut, Copy and Paste operation steps are given below:

Copy:

  • Select text that you want to copy into your document.
  • Click on the Home Tab into your document.
  • Click on Copy Button into the ribbon bar. Your text will be copied into clipboard into your MS-Word document.
  • Now click at a place where you want to insert your copied text.
  • Now click on Paste Button into Ribbon Bar. Your text will be copied at there.

OR

  • Select your text or Object which you want to copy from one place to another place into your document.
  • Press Ctrl+C to copy your text into your document. You copied text will be placed into Clipboard part into your MS-Word document.
  • Now click at that position where you want to paste your copied text.
  • Press Ctrl+V from keyboard to paste it at that place.

Cut:  (Cut command is used to move your text and Objects from one place to another place into your document)

  • Select text that you want to cut into your document.
  • Click on the Home Tab into your document.
  • Click on Cut Button into the ribbon bar. Your text will be cut and move into clipboard into your MS-Word document.
  • Now click at a place where you want to insert your cut text.
  • Now click on Paste Button into Ribbon Bar. Your text will be moved at there.
